And Then There Were None review

So another check on my watchlist. Today I finished "And Then There Were None (2015)", a miniseries that is actually an adaptation to Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None. I'm going to explain the plot for those to haven't read the book or watched the miniseries. Ok, so what is it about?? Btw spoilers ahead

Basically, eight people are invited to a mysterious island to enjoy a holiday in a big house. Two more people are already on the island, Mr and Mrs Roger, who are the servants. The guests are invited by a specific Mr UN. Owen.
When they first arrive, Vera Craythorne, one of the guests sees some rhymes that are like:

"Ten Little Soldier Boys went out to Dine. One choked his little self and then there were nine.

Nine Little Soldier Boys stayed up very late; One overslept himself and then there were eight.

Eight Little Soldier Boys travelling in Devon; One said he’d stay there and then there were seven.

Seven Little Soldier Boys chopping up sticks; One chopped himself in halves and then there were six.

Six Little Soldier Boys playing with a hive; A bumblebee stung one and then there were five.

Five Little Soldier Boys going through a door; One stubbed his toe and then there were four.

Four Little Soldier Boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.

Three Little Soldier Boys walking in the zoo; A big bear hugged one and then there were two.

Two Little Soldier Boys sitting in the sun; One got frizzled up and then there was One.

One Little Soldier Boy left all alone; He went and hanged himself And Then There Were None."

And soon, the guests realise they are the ten little soldier boys. And one by one, they disappear forever.

This is an extremely short summary, but I don't want to give a lot of information and especially spoilers. But yeah the BBC adaptation is just one word, brilliant. I mean the show is like an upgrade for the 1945 film directed by René Clair. Everything about the new version is very good. Writing, acting and just quality in general. I mean, it was done by the BBC after all.

I give it a solid score of 7out of 10. Yes, it was good, but there were a few things I didn't really appreciate. Like the fact that the producers made some changes to the plot and when I say "some", I mean quite a lot. And if you want to know the changes between the book and the show, wait for that cause, I started writing :))
